Bailey Morris MT75 propshaft flange
r1_pete - 31/3/08 at 07:42 AM

Anyone know which vehicles use the UJ which fits the Bailey Morris MT75 flange? it has 27mm diameter caps and 73mm cap to cap. I know I could just ask them, but it seems a bit cheeky trying to avoid their costs for a full custom prop.
Cheers.
Pete.

the MT75 equiped Transits use an output flange rather than the 3 prong efforgy.

i dont know what size it is though.

Hmmm i've got an mt75 with the stupid 3-prongy thing. I'd heard about transit mt75s having a nice proper flange instead - anyone know if they can be changed easily? When you say you have a bailey morris mt75 flange - is that their own version of the transit flange?

Just measured up my joints and they're 27mm cap but appear to be 75mm accross caps. They are from volvo props, and happen to be the same size as what ford use on the cossie 4x4 front props (and i think rear props too) which was awesome for me bodging together a two piece sliding joint version of the 4x4 front prop for my car - just put the ford yokes on me volvo prop and got BM to shorten it.

These volvo props are great for parts - 30 quid from me local volvo breaker near bedford gets me three rebuildable joints that always seem to be in perfect nick, and a nice sliding joint and centre bearing. So I'm using volvo again for me rear prop but it's this three-pronged mt75 thingy that's confusing me. Probably best off asking BM.

P.S. I meant to ask what pcd and register size your BM mt75 flange is, and do you know if that is the same as a transit one? Oh and would you have any pics of the arse of a 2WD mt75 or even better pics of your BM flange unistalled - I want to be sure it's the same as the arse of my 4x4 version before i think about getting an old transit gearbox to pull apart.

Cheers,

Liam
