Build your own exhaust?
Davey D - 5/4/08 at 08:32 PM

Im sure on here some time ago there was a link to a website that sold all the parts to let you build up your own exhaust can... with different shapes, sizes, and material of casings. end caps, and wadding material. Anyone know which webite im on about?

You'll be talking about Milner for can stuff and All Stainless for manifold stuff.

Don't know if it's the same site, but have a look at http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/EXHAUSTS-Merlin-Silencers-Silencer-Components/c223_228_229/index.html

TGR-ECOSSE - 5/4/08 at 09:56 PM

Could it be Simpson Exhausts?

Davey D - 5/4/08 at 09:58 PM

nah.. the site im looking for sold casings made from titanium, carbon fibre, aluminium, and stainless.

they sold it in different lenghts, and diameters.. im sure the site sold nothing but parts for making exhaust cans

If it helps I can supply some packing/wadding. Its basalt and ive used something similar for a few years and its doesnt burn out like the E glass stuff. If you need some drop me an email to mark@sebring.fsnet.co.uk

Ive also made a few silencers/ exhausts for westfileds and a sylva so I may be able to help here too.

Cheers

Mark

Hi Davey. This chap is in Lincoln.

I've bought some tools off him in the past (he is also a silverline tools agent) an has a very good reputation with his exhaust builds, might be worth giving him a shout.
