Right then dudes, 1.8 zetec with ZX9R carbs, megajolt and an airbox.

The carbs are standard and I would be interested for some ball park settings for main jet size, needle position and air screw position, ie how many turns out.

At the moment it starts on the choke and idles nice at 800rpm. It did hunt and run on a bit with open carbs but the addition of an (maybe restrictive) airbox has improved it.

Boggs bored my jets to 1.7mm - zzr1100 carbs, 1.8 zetec, 2.0L cams. They reconed that was as close as I'd get before rolling road set up.

My ZX6 carb jets are 1.6mm. Needle in the middle groove, air screw where it was on the bike.

Starts and revs perfectly, but have only driven it at low speeds so far [without an air filter].
