The final thing to correct from my SVA fail list is NOISE!!!!
I peaked at 102 db (before my engine blew up, oil pump failure followed by head gasket
)
I have a non re-packable silencer from Robin Hood. I've inserted one of those baffle things from CBS, but I’m still not convinced it’s any
quieter.
I was thinking about packing steel wool around the baffle, is there any other tricks I can do?
Cheers,
B
A decibel killer will do the trick,it will knock off around 5 db's,they are very effective.
