You turn the slotted screw on the top. Anti clockwise to slow the pressure but you need a guage to set it properly. I got one from the bay for a couple of quid.

Ditch,

Does your regulator have a brass plug on the bit next to the outlet? If so, I have a pressure gauge that'll fit in there nicely.

If you don't have the brass plug you'll have to get a gauge that goes in the fuel line, or use a connector like this.

Give me a shout if you want me to drive over and help you to set your regulator (any excuse to get the car out!)

I do not think you have to be that precise.

All you need is adjust so that fuel starts to leak by the float needles then back the screw off 1/4 to 1/2 a turn and monitor things for a while.

The last thing you want is insufficent pressure at full load !
