finished my engine today, it only took12 hrs, i'm dead chuffed with it, i just need to put the rest of the car back together now http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/photos.php?action=showphoto&photo=enginerad%20005.jpg

Very nice.
For some reason blue and yellow always look good together. The yellow appears to make the blue more vibrant...

Doesn't make the car any quicker but it sure looks nice

I have to agree about the blue & yellow
Your engine looks the dogs

Yep, top colours, looks great, nothing like lifting a bonnet and seeing a work of art.

top job.

Nice job, well worth the effort as a clean engine goes a long way to a nicely finished car.

When you are building it is so easy to do half a job on cleaning the engine but you always regret it later as it's a bugger of a job once in!

sorry it looks to good to put in a car, you'll just have to put some oily lump in instead and tuck that one away in a glass case

Definitely Ecotec. You can tell by the plastic tensioner/idlers and the single row of cam cover bolts.
