What do I do with the carb breather and air vent hose?

Do I just leave them to atmosphere?

Thanks, Phil

I fitted a small filter to my zx9r carbs it stops crap getting in the carbs

I left my keihin vent open.

I was led to believe on a bike its fed air from the clean side of the air filter - is that right?

My Keihins (CBR600) have 2 'vents'. The first is from the chambers above the slide diaphragms - these used to go to their own filters in the airbox. The others are from the complicated system for protecting the catalytic converter if the ignition fails; they are a vent from the top of the float chamber - if the ignition stops, the vent is connected to the vacuum so the engine can't suck up any fuel. I can stop the engine by putting my thumb over them!

In my setup both are connected to air - currently with no filter, but that's just a 'round tuit' job.
