Welcome, what you building then??

Marcus - 23/6/08 at 11:25 AM

Welcome mate. there are a few old ford nuts here, so you're in good company. Personally I think the best thing for an old Ford is to rip out the running gear and put it in a Locost
Not a big fan I'm afraid, there were just too many around...

I've always had trouble getting the nuts off an old Ford!

Rusted solid mostly. Maybe that's just the Fords I've owned though......... nah, doubt it.

cheers for the warm welcome guys...

building up a 205 block pinto i put in my 1.6 laser last year... super poor after uni but hungry for more so instead of costly 45's... it's a set o bike carbs on the ol' girl for me...

and if i had a lottery win, she would be tricked out with a 4ltr strait six, box and running gear from a tuscan! dimensions such as wheel base are quite similar don't you know!

iscmatt - 23/6/08 at 03:50 PM

there are a few, including myself, who have got pintos with bike carbs, so if you have any probs, post it up and i'm sure someone will be able help you out!!
