Thanks Reman & Steve but the flange that replaces the Fireblade sprocket,when fitted, only the front edge is visable. The back edge is in the casing and so I cannot hold the bolts when tightning. The flange is not threaded. So how do you tighten the bolts? Anyone overcome this problem

Sorry I don't have a pic, it was supplied by MK. I can descibe it. It fits the splines but fine needed a 4mm washer to pack it out to allow the centre bolt to hold it tight. The holes in it are the same size as the prop shaft but are not threaded. As you can see Mark G suggests taping the holes which I might try today, but will this mean I will needed larger bolts and have to drilll out the prop shaft holes?

Looking from above, is the larger diameter part of the flange to the rear of the car and the thinner dia. To the front?
It would be a bit easier to advise with a photo.
I wouldn't tap the flange just yet...

I would'nt tryt tapping either. If it's well made it will have been hardened
