MI 16 engine build
sonic - 18/7/08 at 07:46 PM

Hello all
Can anybody recommend a good engine builder who can rebuild a Peugeot MI 16 engine.
Local to York area would be good
I can get the engine for next to nothing but it needs big ends etc.
Really i want it fully rebuilding balancing etc so it will take some hammer in my sprint Hillclimb car
Any help would be great

Had no idea - I bet they have no idea that a pinto lurks under the bonnet either

Ive heard good reports about AMAC in Northallerton. No idea if they are into pugs but im led to believe they do a lot of competition engines.

Hi Sonic,

Have you seen this web site http://www.pumaracing.co.uk/index.htm

Also theres a guy called Bob Bellerby who runs a very competitive Peugeot engined striker on the Hill climb/sprints - I would think that if you catch him at a meet and have a word with him you might find his engine builder is quite local...

Cheers

Mark
