Calling for some advise by anyone using the Cross Flow Engine.

Is the mechanical fuel pump strong enough to get the fuel from tank to Carb or does it need assistance??

I think, assuming it's in OK condition, it should be fine for that but would defo struggle with twin webers.

Ran mine with DGAV and mechanical pump without probs, BTW

I had an issue with mine, it was found to the fuel tank breather hole had been blocked off, after running the car for about 5 miles it would start to cut out when slowing down for corners (idle speed) pump could not pull the fuel from the tank because of the vacuume build up in tank

That would cause problems with any pump!

I ran my twin 40 webers with a mechanial pump, with a stage 3 xflow

no problems there

As Steve says, there's plenty there for twin 40s on a 1300 providing the diaphragm is in good nick. Dirt cheap to replace though.

Oh thank god for that.

At least something is going ok lately.
