What temperature fan switch are people using for their ZX12 blocks? I have a spare 95-100 switch kicking around but thought I might go for a slightly earlier one as I hear people have heating issues with the ZXas it is?

We're using the original temperature sender from the Nissan Micra Radiator we have.

The overheating issues are only applicable to tracking, not through general road use...

Adequately vented out, there are no heating issues with ours.

What is the running temp for the 12. I've only been on a few short run's and the running temp is the only thing that worries me.

IIRC the running temp is circa 96C, under bonnet temperatures do get higher and if adequate ventilation is not provided - it tends to boil the water.

Our rad-fan rarely comes on...

My fans on all the time @102c. Don't you use water wetter as well.

We DID - but since we vented the bonnet we no longer have this issue.
