bought some fuel filler neck hose to connect my bike carbs to the manifold. thought it should be fairly petrol resistant

when i've connected everything up, it looks good, but the hose and hose clips jam up against the butterfly spindle adjuster thingys. not good. got it from rally design, and while its good stuff, the wall thickness vays from 5mm to 8mm.

i kinda need something in the way of 3mm or something, deforming under a vacuum shouldn't be a problem. i've got enough metal i can adjust to do away with any gaps if need be

why not use different clips there are alot more than just jubaliee out there some look alot neater to i would stick with the thick wall as thats not only part of your carb mountings and a vibration reducer

the rubber already touches the adjusters without the clips

i suppose the rubber would compress down once the clips are tightened though, maybe it'll leave a small gap
