is the oil filter in a different place on a blacktop zetec? does it fit at a different angle?

In "Paul's kit car pages" click [modifications] and towards the bottom is a clickable section entitled "Replace current engine with brand new phase 3 Zetec" - there's a good pic in there plus lots of useful info. Not my site btw depite it being a Paul with a Tiger!!
