hi all, im going to be running a zetec (1.8 gti) engine on my type 9 box. few questions, 1 what parts do i need for the conversion to fit it to the type 9, 2. i have the ecu from a 2l mondeo to run it of, what steering rack can i use to run the ignition chip of.

Not sure about the steering rack bit but for the engine - gearbox you will need a bit of a combo for the clutch and release bearing. The release bearing is QH part number cct 133 (capri 1.3 I think) and I used a combination of CVH friction plate and zetec pressure plate. I also converted the cvh plate for between the engine and bellhousing to close up the gaps which are not covered by the engine block.
