Moved Balcktop engine and gearbox into engine bay ready to add engine mounts.

New problem ... bolts from the silvertop dont fit my Focus Blacktop block.

My son bought 7 from Ford (1998-2005 model - i think) and these dont fit either (although length too long, the threads wont screw into the block 60x10 bolt size)?

Any idea on what bolt size I need to purchase?

Threads may need chasing out. My silver top bolts fit no problem, same thread but a couple had a lot of rust.

As Coozer said. The threads on both my blacktops we full of rust and needed chasing out with a tap.

Yup, had the same problem too, run an M10 plug down them.
