Hi, Having my 2.oL pinto head gas flowed and fast road cam fitted will the standard ignition timing be ok or will I have to alter.Is there an upgrade ing system I could fit .I have electronic ing fitted but don't know what it is came with the car cheers keith

mega jolt will probably be your best best for a cheap, but very good, relibale, infinetly adjustable system.

although you could have something similar in your current system

The advance curve will need altering to get the best from the cam. however it will run happily, although not at its optimum with what you already have if it is in good condition.

Once the cam is broken in drive up the road and floor it in high gears and listen to the engine for pinking, you need to back the ignition off a couple of degree's from the moment it starts to pink.

You will also need to consider how you time the cam cam, around 5 - 7 degree's advance will give most mid range, do this before you touch anything else.
