Pinto has 6 bolt fixing for the flywheel
Cosworth has 9 bolts.
Both cranks are bullet proof if prepared properly but the 6 bolt crank needs a locating dowl or two if you intend to race it or go to 7500 to 8000 for long periods of time.
All the dimensions are the same

cosworth one is steel and has more flywheel bolts.

If you dowel the flywheel to a pinto one though then I'd like to see one break!

There's nothing much wrong with a std pinto crank other than the flywheel mount.

then you'll be safe to a lot of revs as long as everything else is balanced.

7500 is certainly safe

and aswell as the above the cossie one has a 8mm longer nose (so more space for pulleys) and 2 short keyways instead of 1 long one

Alex, if your thinking about building a cossie from a pinto - don't do it, its cheaper to buy a whole cossie and rebuild it (4x4 one for preferance)
I found out the hard way
