More turbo pipe questions

On the same subject as the other turbo thread.

What temp would the air be from the turbo to the intercooler, ignoring and conduction from a small engine bay?

I would say between 50 and 130C without an intercooler was a fair judgement.

I'd expect between 80 and 175 degrees C from turbo to intercooler with between 40 and 90 degrees C after the intercooler.

Try using aluminium as much as you can.

If you can't source aluminium, try finding Industrial vacuum cleaner pipes. Available in different sizes, nice thin walled and chromed as a bonus!. Exhaust pipes might work too, but these are heavy.

What kind of boost will you be running? below 15PSI i don't expect temperatures above 200 degrees C.
