hi guys, will any of you endless knowledge posters be able to tell what engine will be in this car?!

endless knowledge i think not, endless posting maybe...
i think that because of the age (j being quite late for sierras) that it will be a DOHC. not 100% though.
look at this though, funny thing when complete cars go for less...:

was just talkin to paul a while ago and he said that the twin cams are all 93 onwards, but cant be sure. Go to www.carfolio.com its a great site

I used a 1990 "G" which was DOHC.

91 on I seem to remember --- but like the change over of the 1800 to CVH not cast in stone a lot of fleet order were filled from old stock.

Data Manual says 90-92, but as BT says, fleet orders got what was left over

If it's a 4x4 as it says in the advert then it is definitely a DOHC, there was never a 2.0 4x4 with the pinto engine.

The haynes manuals state the dohc replaced the 2.0 pinto from approx late 89 on. But as has been said, many cars after that date were older stockpiled
cars sold as new that had pintos in em

But not 4x4 sierra's, which is what the one in question is, these NEVER used pinto's! All the 2.0 4x4's are dohc, I am 100% certain
of this!
