Opel Ascona 'box?
Hi
Iv'e heard talk that you can fit an opel manta rwd gearbox to a vauxhall xe engine, but wondered if you can do the same with the Ascona gear
box?

I don't think so, it is only the 1800 5 speed manta 'box that fits and I don't think there was an ascona 1800 as far as I know

the manta gte and other boxes as far as i know have different blocks or the starter on the wrong side for the xe..
