gearlinkage

Hi
Trying to sort out my gear linkage and I have a cable system wher I think one cable moves throught the gears and the other pull down on the gears to ingage reverse. Can this system be translated to paddle shift?

My van uses a cable gear change but it uses both cables to change all gears(Nissan Vanette). The reverse gate is on the remote linkage in the cab. I doubt a single cable could do a 'H' pattern shift unless it was very rigid, in which case it would be hard to route. Old style column change would be the nearest you could get but they were very vague.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
