engine hieghts, cvh / pinto /rwd box
A friend is trying to rebuild a kit, (moss malvern), but wants to replace the tired spitfire engine and box with something that can have an AUTO (big
feet, small pedal box). Now power isn't a major issue due to the nature of the car, but engine bay space is....I heard that the pinto is a lot
taller, and heavier than the CVH, but which of the CVH's will fit onto a type 9 auto box? is there a difference between the 1600 and 1800cc
input shafts?
would a sierra 1800cc to sierra auto box be the easiest option?
If anyone can link to info on these conversions etc, then much apprieciated.
