Type 9 Gear Lever Extension

As posted in the for sale section;

Do you need your gear lever moving back?

I am getting a local engineering firm to make me a few Type 9 Gear level extensions up . Not sure how many i will get made as i thought i would ask on here first to see how much interest there is.

They will come fully assembled, except for the reverse detent which will need removing from the gearbox and attaching if you want it.

The more they make, the cheaper they will be, which is the reason im asking around. Let me know if you want one and i will let you know a price when he gets back to me on tuesday,

Im sure they will be alot less than the £85 charged by westfield.

I'd be interested!

Is this something you've designed to work on the Indy?
Do you have a sketch?
Got a rough idea of the cost?

reply by U2U or email if you prefer!

Nick,

I would be interested!

Am going to be building a Luego velocity though. Will it still be suitable?

Spoke to the www.rtmotorsport.co.uk guys, who have just built a velocity and they bought a Westfield item. So if it is virtually identical should be no probs.

Cheers

Gary

I think it is very similar to the westfield one, so shouldnt be a problem.
I have posted in the for sale section, best to post replies in there so i can keep track of who wants one.

The picture in there is of bobs indy, so shouldnt have any trouble fitting one.
