Manifold Length
Ive got the problem of my carbs being the same height as the top chassis rail. I phoned burtons and they said they do a manifold that raises the cabs
up. When i got it throught the post, its the same as the one i have. Phoned them up and they said they dont do one that raises it up????
Anyways, they said they do a really thin one, i can exchange it for this, but i wondered will this mess up the carb settings.
The carbs have been set up with the engine when i bought it, will changing the manifold length significantly mess it up. I am planning on getting the
carbs set up on a rolling road properly anyway. But i would like it to drive first, i dont mind if its a bit out.
Thanks
Chris

Shouldn't upset the carbs, different length manifolds will affect torque though, if memory serves, the longer the manifold the more torque you
will have and vice versa, not a problem in a car that weighs so little
