ID of st170 stub manifold

Anyone know the ID of the rubbers from an ST170 manifold? I have a set of gixxer 600 TBs with ED of 45mm trying to work out the best solution for mounting them to a zetec e.

thanks for replies, most helpful. Fastdan has offered me a manifold setup for gsxr750s, with spacings of 71-75-71 does anyone know what these spacings mean?

I'll post a couple of pics of my TB's,

Tips picked up elsewhere in the forum, extended lugs (red) using a bit of steel angle, extended modular fuel rail by turning new aluminium slugs, and new cable clamp from a handy nylon bolt,...

For the ST170 plastic inlets, the rubbers are very forgiving and will fasten with a jubilee clip to a range of sizes, but the inlet on the ST170 is OVAL and is 54mm wide x 47mm tall, so similar to something about 2" round.

Guess the dims from fastdan are the spacings between the pipe ends O-71-O-75-O- etc three gaps for 4 inlets, for info the spacers added to the Hayabusa ones are 10mm and 15mm to suit the ST170.

Hope that helps.

yeah thanks, Howard, all very useful, still not 100% on the distance between pipe ends, might become clearer tomorrow when i get a chance to play with the units.

I take it the ID of the rubbers isn't far enough from 45mm to cause concern?

when you dismantle them, watch out for the little spring that pings our and rolls under something, never to be seen again,....

Are you going to use MS?

I have an omex 600 sat on the shelf gathering dust. just missed your reply with my edit, are your Tbs around 45mm ED?

mine are busa bodies, a bit bigger, so about 54mm or so, but I am sure that the rubbers from the ST170 will fit ok, I just popped them into some boiling water to reshape them, after trimming the internal rib away,....

hth
