Which radiator? Polo?

I believe a Polo radiator is pretty much the radiator of choice.

Any details on which model Polo donates the best option.

Or indeed any other cheap options for a tuned crossflow?

Thanks

Colin

Most go for the '302' polo rad
like so:
VOLKSWAGEN POLO 1983-1990 / DERBY / SEAT TERRA RADIATOR NEW - 2 YEAR WARRANTY | eBay

But I went for this one as its slightly larger and fits under the strikers nose nicely

VOLKSWAGEN GOLF / VENTO 1.4/1.6 91-98 CAR RADIATOR NEW | eBay

Bottom pipe location isnt on the best side.

But I suppose it depends on what engine you use!

I did it the mad way...
Scrap yard - got a large scrap rad off a Golf with fans & switches for a tenner ..
Bought a pair of cheap vw polo radiator cores..
Took the sides off the Golf rad - put the sides on the polo core..
Cut the fan housing to suit smaller rad.. job done

top & bottom pipes from a MG breakers yard - conect up to crossflow water pump..

I used a VW 302 radiator, Raceline rail, a fan from a Mk3 fiesta and a few silicon pipes. Job done!
