can i fit this sump on a black top zetec

hi im after a lower sump for my blacktop zetec can afford a raceline one so will this do it from a silvertop escort si as it will give me more clearance but do i need the splash plate or any other parts cheers doddy

Yeh you will either need four 20mm spacers and the main cap bolts from a silver top to re space the windage tray from the crank or spacers to space the tray form the sump.

edit.

its not going to give you much clearance over the black top.

You may have to grind the side of the sump to get clearance for the starter.

The main cap bolts you need are from 2 and 4 main bearing. I will put a pic in my archive as they are a double ended bolt.

rthanks for the picture does any one no the part number and any idea of price from ford im going there on monday see if they can get them for me i take it i need 4 studs and nuts
