CVH Coolant Pipes
The metal pipe that bolts to the front of the engine direct fromt the waterpump.
It goes backwards then does a 90 bend then pretty much staight.
Its currently too long to get a 90 bend on it (woudl stick out of the side panel) to redirect it to the front of the car.
What have other people done. Cut it down (but the diameter opens up towards teh end and it has a smaller bore take off so I'd loose that to) or
cut the end off, chop a bit out the middle then weld the end back on again.
Or bend it round?
You can just see it on this pick (not my engine) its behind the stainless pipe and behind the exhaust manifold, it ends up at 90 deg heading to
towards the side panel.

On mine the outlet of the waterpump points out the top and have have simply taken a hose of that down onto the bottom of the rad (polo rad used the
correct way round, so same side) which works for me.
When i tried to get a replacment w/pump there appeared to be a whole lost of diffrent ones for the cvh, and diffrent pattern parts where diffrent too
even for the same nominal part no.
Obviously my method creates a large opertuity for an airlock on the pump suction side, but with some ingenuity its not hard to get round that,
although I do mean to fit a tee'ed off bleed point here.

I cut mine down and used a wire reinforced rubber hose to make a tight bend. Worked fine, but wasn't in the car for that long.
