type 2 ford gearbox extension
Has anyone made a extention to move the gear lever back on a type 2 gearbox? I was going to have a go at fabricating my own but its a push down
reverse so im not too sure what the best way would be.

Thanks. I chopped down the type 2 gear lever screwed into the gearbox and modified that. I removed the reverse detent from the gearbox. I used a type
9 gearlever bolted to the chassis with a homemade detent bolted to the underside. I've seen a few variations of this, but I did mine this way
because I wanted it all to fit inside the transmission tunnel.
