Gear linkage - cable or rod?
I have about 960mm between the gearstick lever and the gear shaft.
I'm after some pros cons for which way to go, it's a straight run between both, and needs incorporate room for the flat shifter actuator.

Ive had many comments about how smooth my knob feels with my cable set compared to a linked rod system
