r1 fuel pump problem

Hi all
got the r1 fuel pump fitted and wired up BUT when i turn the key all i here is the clicking coming from the pump, is this ok, now there is no fuel in yet

you should not let them run dry as they use the fuel to keep cool if not they can overheat and sieze as your one may have done

no might be dry but i have not started the car yet only getting around to it now, should i put fuel in the tank ?

is it clicking or ticking it should tick fast untill till makes pressure than it will slow you best to have fuel in the tank

it is ticking so i will get fuel tomorrow and then see what happens
