cbr900 fireblade coil question ?!?

on the cbr900 which colour wire goes to which terminal on each coil pack...

the way Im picking it up is there should be 2 wires to each coil

coil 1 - black/white wire and yellow/blue wire
coil 2 - black/white wire and yellow/green wire

on each coil there is a black terminal and a green ternimal.

my instinct has told me that the bw wire should go on the black terminal..is this right ??

tried to fire her up for the first time but it wont fire up.

took a plug out and they are sparking but wont fire up..just wondering if ive got these wires right.

failing that im stumped to why it wont fire up

any ideas ???

thanks Alan

Once flooded nightmare to start, hit the plugs with a blow torch and install when still as hot as possible then try

Hey hey

Hey presto. Got it started. Will try and post a vid tonight of her running

Currently attached to an engine stand
No water system and it of takes 7 wires to get the bloody thing started

It's been a year since I bought this engine as just a bare block for £20 off eBay

Been buying bits and bobs for it each month and last night I actually got it started

I'm very pleased with myself

Just gotta get my chassis sorted now
