retroford flywheel
i bought a retroford flywheel which has been drilled for the pinto clutch, it arrived on tuesday. i just have a quick question about it.
when i took the clutch plate off the 2.0 zetec, the flywheel has a machined finish as shown below:
however the new flywheel from retroford has a slightly rougher finish,
i was just wondering if this is normal, and ok to use? im hoping the retroford does not require machining to give it the correct surface finish or
anything like that!

It does look a bit rough but I wouldn't worry. After a few miles it will look the same as the other one. At least it wont slip!

It looks like its been shot blasted, and there are "marks" that indicate there was a clutch friction plate running on it before shot
