FRM Bore honing????

Anyone on here had Honda FRM block honed with success. In the north west of England would be handy. My block has light vertical scratches and I believe it needs special care and tooling when honing.

Contact details appreciated.

Cheers Ali,

I spoke to Paul a while back and he hadn’t worked or wasn’t familiar with the s2000, but I was inquiring regarding other details like dry sump pump and sump options. I suppose many engines have the same FRM bores so Paul will be the man for the job. Have you personally had him do this type of bore or know someone who he has done them for.

Cheers Andrew.

Hi not had paul do honda engine we get him to do the machining work on the duratec we hill climb but be quite suprised if he couldnt sort it i like him and have alot of time for him other people have great claims of horsepower sbd etc claim lots more hp than our engine but cannot beat it on the hill.
PS think the honda kitten would probs get put in sports libra think it would be to much for scrutineers to put it in modified production mind you thats what it is really
Cheers ALI

Yea Paul is a good man. I remember taking my car’s to him for rolling road in the shed at the top of his field 25 years ago. I will pop to see him again as I used to get him to do all the machining work on my engines. I bet its changed a bit since I was last there. Many thanks.

Rang Paul Gardeners today, but he doesn't do them as he doesn't have the correct stones.

Any more ideas anyone.
