Ford 8v DOHC 2.0 engine for sale.
Having decided to go with the zetec option, I now have an 8v DOHC to sell.
Someone DM'ed me about it but I accidentally deleted the DM.
It came out of a sierra and the person I bought it from said it was low mileage car. He was stripping the shell and building a track day car with a
Cosworth V6 engine.
The engine is clean and just looking at the cams they look un-worn which is the closest I have been able to confirm the low mileage assertion.
It includes the inlet goblins plenum with injectors etc and wiring to the injectors. It doesn't have the engine ECU or main loom. It also
includes the exhaust manifold. It has a flywheel and clutch, which has been taken off, and there looks to be very little wear on either. The chap I
bought it from took the water pump off, but I have it.
It also has the sticky out mounts that would locate it to a Sierra. I was going to chuck them but they might be useful.
It doesn't have an alternator or starter motor.
Happy to take 100 quid from anyone here before I stick it on ebay.
Buyer collects. It is hanging from my engine crane so I can help load it into the back of car/van etc.
