Prop shaft for type 9 box?
Hi folks, I'm looking for a prop to suit a type 9 gearbox that I'm putting in my car. The length is unimportant as I'll have it
adapted to suit my needs, so I really just need the part that plugs into the gearbox. Because of lack of space I need one without the rubber lobo
joint but have a couple of questions:
1. Does anyone have one!
2. I've seen all sorts of similar types of prop - 4X4 ones, 4 speed ones, etc. Will they all fit?

Just contact a company that manufacturers props. They will ask what box and what diff and the distance between, You will get a nice new prop that will
last a lifetime. Not worth the hassle scouring scrappies when it will not fit and the cost plus mods will be about the same as new prop, especially if
the UJ is buggered after doiing a million miles in a Sierra.

I just spoke to D&F and they'll do one for £120 - bargain, thanks.
