Scholar Sump
Looking to get one of these for my Blacktop Zetec, do many of you have the Scholar Sump fitted?
Is it ok for trackdays?
Any issues in fitting the pickup and the sump?
Any other tips or pointers for fitting to a Blacktop?

I can build you a sump for a black top for a lot less than a scholor sump. I can mod steel or alloy sumps. All TIG welded. I have done quite a few for
people on here. Just let me know if I can be of help.
Cheers Si.

From the looks of it, the Scholar sump is just a cut 'n' shut silvertop unit, am I right? If you're going to do that, I'd get
someone like Strontium Dog to do it for you. For what he'll charge and the payment to Scholar, I know which is the more locost solution.
Having said that, I went all out and bought a Raceline sump at great expense....

What sort of costs? I have got a spare BT 4age sump I need sortening, winged and baffeled.
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!
