The Duratec handbook recommends for the fly three steps to tighten
first to 50nm+-4nm
2nd 80+-4nm
3rd 112nm+-4nm
this is what I have used with my arp bolts
The instructions I have from ARP say 45 ft lb for con rod bolts
I tightened and released mine 3 times to ensure they had stretched properly
Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

Follow the ARP specs not the haynes or duratec manual!
ARP bolt specs are all on their website, listed by thread size.
