AP clutch Pinto release bearing
Hi Guys. First post.
Doing quite a bit on my Westfield /Pinto engine this winter I am changing the clutch for,an AP 184mm on a lightened steel fly wheel. the new distance
from the std release bearing to the pressure plate is now too big to,operate the clutch. I know Burtons do an extended carrier and radiused bearing,
seems a lot of money. Does anybody have any other suppliers / suggestions please.

Assuming you're already using the CCT132 bearing (stock Pinto), then the CCT133 (oddball Sierra/Capri one - used for Zetec conversions) is about
10mm longer. Would that do the job?

Many thanks for reply. Yes all stock bits at the moment. 10mm is not enough , its quite a bit hence the need for an extended carrier i think . Will
measure up at lunch time.

Have measured up and its about 20 mm, it looks like a bearing carrier from Burtons and the longer bearing . Do you know if it has a rounded face ?
Cheers.
