It would go for sure - especially if you made it light weight... But why would you when a 1000cc engine can be bough tfor not much more...?

False economy.
No doubt it would work and maybe work well, but you'd always wonder what the litre engine would be like.

It'd probably go OKish if built very light, but not really worth the effort. Two up makes a difference to a 1tr BEC and would make a 750 pretty
disappointing.
Two up isn't quite as bad as some (CEC owners) will make out though. This is my R1 Fury with me (12st) and a 16st passenger. The caterham
cutting corners to stay ahead at around 6mins is an R300, also 2up... but the passenger was his wife who was about 5stone wet through.

my kawasaki 1100 3 wheeler weighs less than 400kg and with a passenger it makes a noticable difference to performance.

You are only down the road from me if you are in Pontefract. I am just in Stanley on the edge of Wakefield. I have a ZX10R engine and clocks etc for
sale if you are seriously looking for an engine to put in a build. Was going to put it in my build that I am about to start but went for a turbo ZX10R
in the end
