exhaust bits

I am looking to fit a stainless tubular manifold to a rover v8 - non standard.

Anyone know of companies that sell mandrel bent tubing.

From what I can tell, the flange is in the order of 10mm - I doubt my MIG (or TIG) will handle that so I may need to mock up the system in mild steel or plastic piping - so same question - anyone know of company that sell plastic piping? .... or can it but done with plastic pipes from B&Q? or wood? or?

150amp tig will do it easily your only welding thin tube to the 10mm plate, your not looking for full 10mm penetration

I tried the same, but the cost of the stainless bits put me off..

Ended up with a mild steel manifold kit from Spencer Ashley.

I found a set of flanges in stainless at £65 but then the price of the rest added on made it eye watering.

Dairybits for bends seemed the cheapest but it all ads up!

if you go to all stainless in luton , he will sell you dairy bends for cash.... gives me a reasonable discount

I'd love to give my imaginary friend a great big hug,

but this jacket makes it impossible.

Burtons show them in their catalogue , not sure about the prices. It might be worth asking your local motor factors

I bought a box of 50 - 2" T304 bends/sections on ebay, about 18 of them had been crushed in the bender, the remainder were absolutely fine.

Cost £50 delivered. I paid £180 for a lovely 4-1 collector from Osprey exhausts, and 4 exhaust cones (34-50mm), I anticipate getting most of my exhaust from the box of bits.

Other options I have come across, from my archive of handy websites.
