1st Gear "Judder"
Anyone else experienced some "judder" when setting off in 1st gear. Only noticed it a few times when the car has been running a while and
especially at Elvington yesterday when the car was "on fire". Northy mentioned it was because the clutch was hot.
Any ideas anyone?
Cheers,
Pat...

Could be oil on clutch , this would cause clutch judder, if the problem persist's try pulling off in 2nd or maybe 3rd gear . This will cause the
clutch to slip, get hot and hopefully burn off any oil . If this cures fault for a while you could have a rear main or possibly gearboxfront oil seal
leaking. Hope this helps . Rusty

Clutch warping when hot
It'll wear itself flat again.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Sounds spot on , Pete
My road car does this after a long hard run, back to normal when driving locally
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
