First start (With video)

Evening all,

Got my new engine running! Woo

But doesn't idle properly.

Some of the noise is down to being in a small space but even so, it doesn't sound quite right.

The bigger problem is the idle.
Starts quite easily but then will rev up by itself for 5 seconds.
Then revs drop and it seems on the brink of stalling before revving up again.
Seem to oscillate back and forth for a few minutes before sort of settling.

The video is after a few mins of running (very dull video, sound only really).

Carb or injection?

High reving on its own, maybe an air leak at the intake manifold perhaps?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Carb. I did have some problems with the intake gasket but I though i'd ironed them out. Might be worth a second look by the sound of it.
