DB killer any good ?
As my car is way to loud even for the road, has any one found a good DB killer, they feel is cost effective, and works,
without sapping power
if so, please share with me
Thats was probably spelt wrong, or had some grammer, that the "grammer police have to have a moan at

All the effective DB killers sap power, they are simply a huge restriction in the exhaust.

Not that I know of.
I will be doing some testing this winter with an idea I got from the bike boys and this new stupidy short and loud GP exhaust fad thats seems to be
going around.
To prevent spoiling the grammaphone look of them they put air spiolers (DB killer) INFRONT of the silencer. This is ment to really spoil the air and
reduce noise by bouncing it off of the walls of the silencer. I have brought one to mod and will be giving it a go.
The bottom line is anything will reduce power. Its by how much.
If your car is THAT loud then try repacking with Accustafil or investing in a bigger silencer. At least your then starting on the right foot.
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Ive re packed using Accustafil at least 3 times over the last 13 years, and im not impressed, as the stuff is shite, and just a hype
a bigger silencer is the last resort

My experience of a DB killer was that it didn't really make it much quieter just raspy and boy did it kill the power.
Bigger exhaust or back off when passing the sound meters
