Zetec coil pack Q
When I was dismantling my old zetec engine before I rebuilt it, there were certain parts that warranted a tidy-up. Now I'm about to fix the
final bits back together so I can drop the engine in and finish off the wiring, a couple of questions have arisen;
I have a new coil pack, but the bolts that hold it to the bracket were rusty. Are these long, thin bolts still available from Ford, and does anyone
know the part number?
The base of the coil pack has a metal strip around it. I had the coil pack bracket powder coated, is the pack designed to be earther to the block
through this bracket? Because I've powder coated the bracket, do I need to run a wire(s) from the pack to block instead?

No idea on the bolts or ford part numbers, are they not just a standard long metric bolt, from memory the M6 but im sure an M4 would go just fine. Its
not the lightest item, but your old preventing it falling on the floor!
Mine works fine cabled tied to the rubber top hose, so an earth line is not essential as far as I can tell.
