I've managed to get hold of one but I've also bought the deeper bearing used in the zetec to type 9 conversions. CCT133 equivalent in
LUK
Having had to shim the clutch cable by around 8mm to even be able to select gears tells me the fork isn't moving far enough. This could be the
home made pedal box not pulling enough cable. Hopefully this will help especially as the clutch wears.
Anybody done this or have more experience than me? Will the thicker bearing cause issues?
Thanks
Steve

I'm running a 2.0 Zetec with an MT75 gearbox in a seven-type.
With this box (and also I believe the type 9) you need a longer pivot pin at the end of the clutch fork to get everything properly aligned.
This may be your problem.
See this link... http://www.kitspares.co.uk/shop/item.php?product=9025
Here's their type 9 version... http://www.kitspares.co.uk/shop/item.php?product=9024
From memory, my release bearing is a cct133

Sorry. I should have said ime running a Pinto with type 9.
That's why I'm leaning towards the pedal not pulling enough cable so a deeper bearing should help shouldn't it?
The part no om my first post came out but I've seen the zetec option and it could belp the problem being a deeper bearing.
I'm just guessing I'm no expert just using an educated guess
