ford engine found in early escorts

Old chinese proverb: "If a man speaks in a forest, and no woman hears him, is he still wrong?"

To be exact, an engine where the air/petrol mixture comes in one side of the head, flows across the combustion chamber and goes out the other side.

Just to confuse everything, the Pinto is a cross-flow! So is the Valencia found in later Escorts, and also the engine in the Ka.

But, to be realistic, the Ford engine known as a 'Kent' is known as a cross-flow to just about everyone. This can be found in 70's Escorts and Cortinas.
