Type 9 gearbox electronic speedo

Hi
I am rebuilding a kit car ( Jag e type 1 conv) and has run into a problem I canīt solve by myself and has not seen anything of it on the net. I changed the gearbox Ford typ9 4-speed to a 5-speed I had had for many years. I am not sure but itīs probably from a Granada. The 5 speed has electronic speedo, but now comes my problem. There are not the usual 3 wires, only 2 which are bown/yellow and black/brown and I cant get any signal from neither when I turn the propshaft. Anyone got any ideas what to do?

Interesting, but I canīt understand why my box just have 2 wires. I have not been able to see that anywhere, just 3 cables, and since it is an electrical sender, why donīt I get any signal from either of the wires. Could be that the sender is faulty by I doubt it. I might have to buy a new sender, but I just canīt understand my original box, and I have not been able to find any electric wiring diagram that suites.
