Pinto starter motor
I have a dodgy terminal on the solenoid on my Bosch 125613 starter motor (for a 2lt Pinto).
Is it possible to replace the solenoid or easier to just get a complete new starter motor.
The number on the side of the solenoid is
44S 12V ER
Patented
Made in England
40 89 77185D
Where is the best place to get either the solenoid or the starter motor?
Phil

someone on here may have a spare starter for you (unfortunately I gave away my last ones a while back or you'd have been welcome to them)
or you can get a new starter for ~£80 from most decent motorfactors

I haven't got a picture at the moment. Does yours have a number on the side of it?

You will find new solenoids on ebay for anything between £9 and £25 inc P&P
Recon Starters are also fairly cheap (circa £30) but as they are quite heavy watchout for the P&P charges.
I have a spare brand new genuine Lucas factory recon LRS707 in the cupboard but it would cost too much to post.
